Will a Super King Bed Frame Fit Your Room?

A super king frame is wider than 183cm once the headboard and side rails are included. Before ordering, measure your bedroom and leave at least 60cm–70cm of walkway on each side and at the foot of the bed. Also check every doorway and hallway between your front door and the bedroom — super king packaging is the largest and heaviest in the range, and older NZ homes with narrow hallways or tight stairwells can make delivery difficult.

Super King vs. King: Which Do You Need?

A super king is approximately 183cm x 203cm; a king is approximately 167cm x 203cm. The super king adds 16cm of width — roughly 8cm more per person for a couple. If your bedroom can comfortably fit the larger frame with walkway space on both sides, the super king is the more spacious option. If your room is tight or your doorways are narrow, the king gives you extra width over a queen without the delivery and fit challenges of a super king.
