This website is operated by Proferlo Furniture. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Proferlo Furniture. Proferlo Furniture offers this website, including all information, tools and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These terms and conditions apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services. If these terms and conditions are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these terms and conditions.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the terms and conditions. You can review the most current version of the terms and conditions at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
Modifications to the Service and Prices
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
Products or Services
Certain products or Services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or Services may have limited quantities.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or Services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or Service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, Services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
New Zealand Domestic Sales Only
- The website information, sales, and service only apply to New Zealand domestic consumers and are governed by New Zealand laws.
- All the prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars and transacted and billed in New Zealand dollars.
Payment
- When the purchase order is made, at least a minimum 30% deposit of the total order value is required to pay. Besides the deposit, any remaining balance must be paid in full and received by Proferlo Furniture before the agreed delivery date (only when the full amount is paid, the delivery would be arranged for fulfilment).
- A 2%-3% surcharge fee may be imposed by the credit card company, which depends on your card type.
Delivery
- We provide Delivery across New Zealand, covering most North Island and part of south Island of NZ.
- The delivery fees depend on the shipping distance from our Auckland warehouse, normally starting from $89. The shipping charge would vary based on product weights, sizes, and delivery addresses. The estimated shipping charge would show up in the cart after entering the shipping address.
- The purchased items will be normally delivered on the agreed delivery date after the full order amount is paid. The delivery time may vary depending on the availability of the stock and the delivery address. There is no responsibility to take for the unavoidable delays.
- We will notify you one day in advance before the delivery date if no specific date is specified in the order note or during the order process.
- Private boxes and post office boxes are not acceptable for delivery.
- It may not be possible to ship oversized, overweight, or other specific items to rural destinations, or an additional fee would be charged in some circumstances.
- A redelivery fee may be charged if the customer fails to accept the goods when the delivery arrives, or customers can choose to pick them up at our warehouse without extra payment.
- Within 24 hours of receiving goods, any damages that have occurred during transit should be reported to the carrier & store and attached with the relevant evidence such as photos/video.
Pick Up
- We also provide Free Pickup (Click & Collect) service, while an appointment is highly recommended (due to the high demand, the same-day pick-up is not available, please book your pickup with the customer support team in advance. Thanks for your understanding).
- Our team members will contact you when your items are ready for pickup.
- You can also arrange the third party to pick up orders on your behalf. The person picking up the order needs to have your invoice number and acquire your authority. A pre-arrangement and confirmation are required prior to pick-up.
General Shipping Information
- Deliveries are normally made to your door only (ground floor only).
- There will be an additional charge for express or same-day delivery, carrying goods upstairs or into lifts, assembly, and any extra services upon request. Based on the size and weight of the purchased goods, the costs may vary between $40 and $120 per item, per person and per level of staircase.
- The delivery staff will follow the standard delivery instructions/directions while fulfilling the orders. No responsibility will be taken for unavoidable delays. Please be aware that the 3rd party delivery company will not unwrap or remove the packaging from your goods or throw away the packing materials/garbage/old furniture for you.
- A redelivery fee may be charged if the customer fails to accept the goods when the delivery arrives.
- Within 24 hours of receiving goods, any damages that have occurred during transit should be reported to the carrier & store and attached with the relevant evidence such as photos/video.
Policy of Warranty
- Warranty is applied to and varied across different products, including 1 year (industry standard warranty), 3 years, or more years. The mattress warranty will be specified on the product description page
- Please must check the received goods carefully and report any found defect in time within 48 hours after receiving the items. Any non-structural defects such as loose stitches or scratches reported to the merchant after 48 hours will NOT be covered by the warranty.
- The products such as floor model stocks, clearance items, repaired products, used items or any products having a defect which has been noticed by the customer before making the purchase are NOT applied and covered by the warranty.
- Warranty does NOT apply to the products which have been installed or assembled wrongly, used, or stored improperly, misused, abused, changed, or cleaned by the incorrect cleaning ways or inappropriate cleaning materials/products.
- Warranty does NOT cover normal wear, tear, scratches, cuts, or any damage from shocks or accidents, and any incidental, or consequential damage.
- Warranty does NOT apply if the product has been placed outdoors or in any humid/strong sunny/extraordinary environment (besides the outdoor furniture).
Refund and Exchange
The original order receipt must be provided to be eligible to make claims.
Refund
Please choose products carefully before making the purchase since refunds are NOT normally given if you change your mind or make the wrong purchase selection.
- When a refund is made, all the eligible refund amounts will be transferred into store credit or returned to the original payment method account.
- If the eligible request is received within 24 hours after making the purchase order (not including the custom orders), full payment or deposit will be transferred into store credit / the original payment method account. If the customer fails to notify the merchant in time within 24 hours, a 10% restocking fee of the total order value will be charged.
- If the eligible request is received within 72 hours of the delivery and the received items are still in original packages, a 10% restocking fee of the total order value will be charged for covering the basic costs of picking up items and carrying them downstairs (if applicable).
- If the eligible request is received within 72 hours of the delivery and the received items are NOT in original packages or have been used, a 25% restocking fee of the total order value will be charged for covering the costs of picking up items, disassembling assembled furniture and carrying them downstairs (if applicable).
- The costs of shipping, assembling, and carrying the items upstairs (if applicable) are NOT refundable for the purchased products.
- Due to hygiene and safety considerations, any opened bedding products such as a mattress, mattress topper, mattress protector, pillow, or bed linen are NOT eligible for a return, exchange, or refund.
Exchange
- If the exchange request is made 48 hours before shipping (not including the custom orders), there is no extra charge required to exchange the products (besides price differences). However, if the customer fails to notify the merchant of the exchange in time 48 hours before shipping, a 10% restocking fee of the total order value would be charged.
- If the exchange request is made after shipping and the purchased products are still in original packages, besides the price difference, a 10% restocking fee of the total order value, the costs of re-shipping, delivering upstairs and assembling (if applicable) will be charged.
- If the exchange request is made after shipping and the purchased items are NOT in original packages or have been used, besides the price difference, a 25% restocking fee of the total order value, the costs of disassembling the assembled furniture, and carrying items downstairs (if applicable) will be charged.
- Due to hygiene and safety considerations, any opened bedding products such as a mattress, mattress topper, mattress protector, pillow, or bed linen are NOT eligible for exchange.
After-Purchase Service
Please refer to the Policy of Warranty for more details.
- Any found damage on the purchased items is required to report by attaching relevant evidence such as photos/videos.
- Proferlo Furniture will examine the reported product thoroughly and decide if it is covered by the product warranty at its sole discretion.
- If the damage is verified and confirmed to be covered by the product warranty, we will provide FREE customer service for the reported product including product inspection, repair, or replacement (this does not apply to the repair work which is not authorized by Proferlo Furniture). Meanwhile, any replaced parts of the product belong to Proferlo Furniture's property.
- The extra fees will be charged on any damage made by unusual use, shocks, impacts, accidents or otherwise.
Storage
- If the customer fails to pick up or accept the delivery at the agreed date without prior notice or pre-rescheduling, a 2 % storage fee of the total order value would be charged per day from the delivery date.
- The customer is required to inform us 48 hours in advance before shipping to postpone the delivery and we will provide 2 weeks of free storage service from the originally agreed delivery date.
Marketing and Subscription
By consenting to Proferlo Furniture’s SMS marketing in the checkout and initializing a purchase or subscribing via our subscription tools, you agree to receive recurring text notifications (for your order, including abandoned checkout reminders), text marketing offers, and transactional texts, including requests for reviews from us, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal do-not-call list. Message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications, reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you within any of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests, will not be considered a reasonable means of opting out. We do not charge for the service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message and data rates may apply.

We have the right to modify any telephone number or short code we use to operate the service at any time. You will be notified on such occasions. You agree that any messages you send to a telephone number or short code we have changed, including any STOP or HELP requests, may not be received, and we will not be liable for honoring requests made in such messages.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
